Have Wahab Adigun,Tunde Omojuwa joined ACO group?

Speculations filtering in from the camp of former acting Chairman, Executive Secretary and Commander -in – Chief of the Positive Mission Group (PMG) political group, Hon Wahab Adigun, suggests that he may have merged with the ruling Hon  Fatai Ajidagba campaign organization, in order to either spite the Hon Kolawole Taiwo (HKT) group or to achieve his political ambition and also, give his group a strong footing in Ifelodun LGA.

A reliable source and frontline politician in Ifelodun, told this paper that the relationship between the two groups; PMG and ACO, is still unclear. Another political leader from the Adigun ward suggested that this new development may be because the PMG group does not want to identify directly with Hon Kolawole Taiwo group despite coming from the same Amukoko axis. Already, Hon Kolawole Taiwo group is given more to an understanding with another group called the Allied group, headed by Hon Taiwo Adenekan.

Refuting the rumor however, Alhaji Taofic Olaoye, the Personal Assistant to Hon Wahab Adigun and the Assistant LGA Party secretary, said, “It is baseless for anybody to think PMG is fusing into ACO, even when our party said they have proscribed all groups. But the truth is that PMG is not in enmity with anybody or any group but simply put, APC is our umbrella”

It is said that both groups of Omojuwa Solidarity Group, the initiative of the former Supervisor for Works, Hon Tunde Omojuwa and PMG, have a working alliance with the ruling Ajidagba Campaign Organization.

Information has it that PMG’s alliance came up about the emergence of Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, however, Omojuwa and his OSG only recently restored relationship with the Ajidagba ruling group.

Observers however believe that Tunde Omujuwa’s relationship with the ACO group leadership is deeper and so that raises the suspicion that he may have joined the group as he has had several meetings with the Apex leadership of the group. He has also been numbered among Ajidagba Campaign Organization chairmanship aspirants.

Aside reconciling with the head of the ACO group, Hon Fatai Ajidagba,Omojuwa has settled scores with his estranged boss, Comrade Olusegun Ogunbanjo who is the adjudged leader of the ACO group.

Steps further had been taken by ACO to reconcile the APC LGA Chairman Hon Atoyebi and Dr Bola Ajijola. Sources from the group, quoted Comrade Olu Ogunbanjo, as saying that there is no need for enmity between Omojuwa , Atoyebi  and Ajijola since Omojuwa will be working
together with the group and had reconciled with both Ajidagba and Ogunbanjo.

Omojuwa in his reaction pointed out that  he is happy mending fences
with the ACO  group, rather than following a group that will never do
anything good for the members either by helping them secure contracts
or getting Board appointments.
